Thanksgiving is next week.  Have you planned your meal or your table? I don’t know about you, but this holiday snuck up on me. I have some really easy time and money saving solutions for you this year.  Last night I attended a wonderful holiday influencer event at the Enoteca Wine Room in Whole Foods Market Fair Lakes.  This gorgeous tablescape was the first thing I saw when I walked in, a dinner table with items from Williams Sonoma.  We drank wine, tasted Thanksgiving menu foods, and shared a lovely evening with some of the best DMV bloggers.

I want to replicate this gorgeous table with all the Thanksgiving items from Williams Sonoma.  Not only do they carry dinnerware and everyday tablescape items, but they also have cookware, cutlery, small electrics, foods, bakeware, and seasonal products as well.  The leather napkin rings and the Plymouth Turkey Toile dinnerware collection pictured above are both so festive for your holiday table.  Our dinner was served on the Provisions dinner plates, where a set of 12 porcelain plates is only $47!

These vintage etched goblets felt so luxurious. At $41 for a set of four glasses they would make a great addition to any home.

Williams Sonoma has many other free services to offer their customers:

  • Junior Chef Classes
  • Date night cooking classes
  • In home consultation for a party or for the WS Home furniture collection
  • Menu planning for a party
  • Help with timing for a party or a big holiday meal
  • Private cooking classes
  • Birthday party planning for kids in store or in your home

Maybe you cannot afford to buy all these Thanksgiving decorations for your table this year.  An affordable solution might be to use regular large white dinner plates and put one small Thanksgiving themed plate on top. You could also try adding a few seasonal pieces to your collection each year, and in 5-10 years you will enjoy a full holiday collection.  Now, you are ready for your big family celebration.

Thanksgiving made easy with a little help from Whole Foods Market

Your table is planned and your dinnerware is ready for your guests.  Do you know how to make all 8 of the dishes pictured above? Cooking a huge meal can be very overwhelming.  Don’t worry. Whole Foods has you covered. If you click here, you can visit the online website where you can place an order for a partial or full Thanksgiving dinner. You can also visit your store and reserve your holiday favorites. Let Whole Foods save you time, money, and energy.  Prices for these dinners are very reasonable, the quality of the ingredients is very high, and the convenience of picking up all your holiday dishes at once is priceless. If you were to shop yourself and buy all the ingredients, cook the foods, and then serve them you would definitely spend much more money than these convenient packages. Remember, MORE PARTY, LESS PREP!  Many Whole Foods locations are conveniently open on Thanksgiving Day for pickup of these dinner to go packages.

These five dinner options are the most popular:

  1. Traditional Turkey Dinner $89 for 6-8 people or $169 for 12-16 people:  Uncooked oven ready turkey, turkey gravy, traditional sage stuffing, homestyle mashed potatoes, organic cranberry orange relish, and choice of two vegetables or homestyle casseroles
  2. Organic Turkey Dinner $99 for 6-8 people:   Fully cooked organic turkey, organic country mashed potatoes, organic biscuit and mushroom stuffing, organic green bean casserole, organic harvest roasted vegetables, organic mushroom gravy, organic cranberry orange relish
  3. Turkey Dinner for 2:  Fully cooked boneless turkey breast, traditional sage stuffing, homestyle mashed potatoes, green beans with shallots, turkey gravy, organic cranberry orange relish
  4. Vegan Dinner for 2or more:  Gardein holiday roast, mashed potatoes with olive oil, vegan cornbread stuffing, green beans with shallots, organic mushroom gravy, organic cranberry orange relish
  5. Just the Sides Package:  Homestyle mashed potatoes, traditional sage stuffing, choice of two vegetables or homestyle casseroles, organic cranberry orange relish and turkey gravy

Three important notes:  Dinner number 1 above comes with a ready to COOK turkey as pictured below. For dinner #1 only, you must cook your turkey before serving it.  It comes all wrapped up, seasoned, and ready to go into your own oven, no one will know you did not slave over the stove all day.  Second note: if you make a purchase of a dinner before November 22nd, you will receive a coupon for $10 off an in store purchase of $75 or more.  You can see in the photo above the exact sizes of the foods you will receive in one of these dinner packages.  Third note: Pumpkin Pies are on sale two for $15.  We tried both the pumpkin and apple pies last night and they were just like my Mom makes.
