Waffle Buffet? Have you ever been to one? Spring is finally here and your friends want to come over for brunch. What should you serve them? I have a super easy solution for you: a Waffle Buffet. This brunch is easy to put together and fun to enjoy. You can make your waffles from scratch (recipe below) or you can use frozen waffles.

Set up your dining table with your waffle maker and your batter. The key to good waffles is a flip waffle maker. We have this one, just like the ones you would find at a fancy hotel buffet. At just under $40 you can create a fun waffle buffet at home. Making your own waffles take some time, so if you want to just buy frozen waffles and put your toaster at the end of the buffet. It will be just as fun, I promise! Have your kids help you set up the waffle buffet and they will be more likely to eat it.

You have your waffles ready to go, now you need some fun toppings. Here are our favorite toppings:

  • whipped cream
  • butter
  • berries (strawberries, blackberries, blueberries or raspberries)
  • sliced bananas
  • mini marshmallows
  • chocolate chips
  • powdered sugar
  • maple syrup
  • chocolate chips
  • chocolate sauce
  • jelly
  • peanut butter
  • honey butter (recipe below)
  • ice cream (so yummy on a warm waffle)

The best part of a waffle buffet is that you can eat it for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even dinner! What would you top your waffle with?
