Leap! is a new family friendly movie opening next month and we cannot wait. My daughter has always dreamed of being a dancer just like Félicie, the star of this movie. Not only does my daughter love to dance, she loves many of the voices behind the characters in this animated movie: Elle Fanning, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kate McKinnon and Maddie Ziegler. We will be seeing Leap! on opening night for an end of summer Mommy-daughter date.
If you have not heard of this movie yet, you must watch the NEW trailer from The Weinstein Company’s Leap!. In the movie LEAP!, 11-year-old orphan, Félicie, has one dream: to go to Paris and become a dancer. Her best friend Victor, has a dream of his own: to become a famous inventor. These two friends flee the orphanage and attempt to pursue their passions. Félicie quickly learns that talent alone is not enough. An unlikely mentor named Odette, a mysterious school custodian, becomes Félicie’s mentor. Together, Victor and Odette help Félicie reach for the stars and try to reach her dreams.
This animated comedy will inspire your whole family. Parents, kids, and anyone who has ever dreamed of following their heart, will fall in love with and be inspired by LEAP!. The cast captures the spirit and humor of the story. The music will have you dancing all the way home. Make sure you get your tickets early, LEAP! opens in theaters nationwide on August 25th.
