Holiday Gift Guide for Teens. What do you buy the teenagers in your life? Full story and gift ideas at www.cookwith5kids.com

Teens are sometimes difficult to buy gifts for. I have four sons who are in the teen range 19,17,15 and almost 13. Buying gifts for these 4 guys is not so easy. These 4 gift ideas have passed their intense testing and have been given the thumbs up.  I hope this gift guide for teens includes gifts that you might not have thought of.  This is my second gift guide in the series, please come back soon for many more.

Teen gift guide

Nintendo 3DS XL: We have two 3DS and my older two boys have been playing on them for years.  Sure, they love to play on the XBOX One and also on the PC, but there is something they love about playing games on the 3DS for hours.  Their latest obsession is the Pokemon Sun and Moon games, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Steelbook Dual Pack – Nintendo 3DS (Amazon Exclusive). One son plays moon and the other plays sun. They both beat the game a while ago but they are still trading Pokemon and trying to beat each other in one v. one battles. It is so cute to watch these big guys still enjoying playing Pokemon with each other. You can find the 3DS XL on sale on Amazon here: Nintendo New 3DS XL Red

Mark McMorris Infinite Air for XBOX One or Playstation 4: This game is so much fun. Our whole family enjoyed trying to learn how to be a snowboarder. The controls were a bit hard to learn for us at first but now the teens are really good at it. They are so proud when they complete really cool tricks on the snowboard while Mom and Dad just usually fall off.  The graphics are awesome and it feel very realistic. This game is one the whole family has enjoyed, but the teens are much better at it than the adults. It is so realistic that you will feel like you are on a mountain, in the snow. You can find it on Amazon here for XBOX One Mark McMorris Infinite Air (Xbox One) and here for Playstation 4: Infinite Air – PlayStation 4

Kenu Stance: This tripod stand for Apple smartphones is the perfect gift for those teens who enjoy using their phone all the time.  This tripod can be used to watch a movie, talk on Facetime, or just to setup a great photo . The tripod is extremely compact and can even fit on a keychain. Need to take a video and you don’t want the camera to shake, this is the perfect helper. Any teen who loves their smartphone will enjoy one of these. You can find it on Amazon here: Kenu Stance | Tripod for iPhone 7 Plus, 7, 6s Plus, 6s, 6 Plus, 6, SE, 5s, 5c, 5, and iPod iTouch Gen 5 | Black

Skewb Extreme: This is a super complicated Rubik’s Cube that all the teens think they can figure out quite easily. But haha, it is much harder than it looks! You can find it on Amazon here:Recent Toys Skewb Xtreme. Two other fun, similar puzzle toys that we tried by the same company are Molecube, Mini Molecube on Keychain – Meffert’s Cubes – Brain Teaser by Recent Toys and Gear Ball, Mefferts Gearball Brainteaser Puzzle All three of these brain teasers are super fun, and great ways to keep teens busy without the use of electronics.
