A wood watch makes a clever gift 16

Do you ever have trouble finding the perfect gift? I know I do! Last year my husband bought a wood watch and I loved the way it looked on him. When JORD contacted me, and asked if I would like to review one of their wood watches, I was thrilled.
The motto on the JORD website says: They make watches for people who don’t just have somewhere to be, they make them for people who have somewhere to go. When I wear this stunning watch I feel ready to conquer the world. It really is true! JORD is a company run by an incredible group of artists, marketers, designers and minders. When I looked through the watches on their website it is hard to choose my favorite designs.
The value of a watch is not in being able to tell how much time has passed, but in being aware of the need to make that time count. Moments are bigger than minutes and your watch should tell more than time.

My watch pictured in these photos is the Cora in Koa and Rose Gold. You can read about the specifics here. I have fallen in love with this watch. It is stylish and a perfect shade of pink. I never thought I would look forward to dressing up and going out!

Wood watches from JORD,

Each JORD watch is hand crafted and made from raw materials. The JORD brand values sustainability, efficiency, and experiential living. Their watches are made from 13 different woods including Acacia, Bamboo, Ebony, Golden Camphor, Koa, Kosso, Maple, Olive, PurpleHeart, Walnut, Rosewood, Sandalwood, and Zebrawood. My watch has a self winding automatic mechanical system. If you turn over the watch you can see all the gears working and it is fascinating! The picture below does not do the mechanics justice, you will have to buy your own to see how intricate the gears are.  The face of this watch is covered in Sapphire Glass which is known for its durability and transparency.
